Learning and Development

Slough Safeguarding Partnership aims to empower our workforce with the skills and competencies they need to function well and get support for the families they work with and also, for themselves.

Slough Safeguarding Partnership Learning and development forum consists of representation from all the Safeguarding Partners with the shared aim to develop the workforce to have the necessary competencies to work together to deliver their safeguarding responsibilities.

Partnership representatives are responsible to ensure that the workforce accesses appropriate multi agency training.

The forum has created a new multi-agency learning and development strategy with agreed competencies for all staff, including volunteers.
